Hello Everyone,
That is Elena at a place called Jumping Club.
The kids get to jump, follow dance routines and get trained for future nightclubs. The parents get to watch their kids burn some energy while enjoying a beer, a cappuccino, food etc.
I finally went dancing. The cool outdoor Sunday spot here in Managua is called El Chaman.
I will shoot a video of it maybe next time, I have gotten so used to going out with my pockets empty.
At home I carry car keys. Last night a friend of Grace’s named David picked me up in a taxi. He is so nice, dances great and knows everyone. He introduced me to so many people.
At home I carry my wallet. Last night I took a few hundred cordobas to pay for the taxi, and I bought 2 beers, but no credit cards, insurance cards, buy 10 get one free cards etc.
At home I carry my dance mints, I did bring some here, but my nieces and nephews ate them all.
AND, at home I never leave home without my phone, but here I leave it since I only have internet in certain rooms of the house. It is literally just a camera when I am out.
The mix of music was 40% bachata, the 30% Salsa, 30% Timba. (with a 20 minute block of merengue in there)
I had some fun dances, then I went on a cold streak and got about 7 rejections in a row, but then went on a hot streak to end the night.
The rejections don’t faze me, I have been rejected so much, and it’s understandable, nobody knows me here. Grace had a good laugh about me getting rejected though
Thank you to David and thank you to Grace for facilitating my dancing.
Overall It was very fun, I made some good connections and I hope to go again soon.
Cheers,
Garry
